The LH4000 ski kit was certified as of June 2005 in the United States, and the European Union. The ski is priced for the 2011 season at $18,400.00 for the skis, fittings, and electric hydraulic pump kit together, but does not include any plumbing. This is the first Thermo Plastic ski on the market to be certified with the FAA, and the most innovative design to come along in four decades. It has more surface area and is lighter weight than any other certified ski on the market. The ski has now been in service since 2005 and has had several upgrades since its release.
