New Certifications
STC No.# SA02069AK has been amended as of June 2006 to include most of the tricycle, fixed gear Cessna aircraft now. The models: C-150, 152, 172, 175, 177, 182, 205, 206, 207, and 210A are now covered under our STC. This STC now allows the operator to increase the tire size to a Goodyear 8.50 x 6 on all three wheels. The STC states "Airplanes incorporating this design change shall be equipped with Goodyear 8.50 x 6 tires on the main and nose wheel landing gears". When coupled with the 8.50 x 6.00 wheels and tires on the main gear, a pilot now has the option to land places that were previously off limits. The Airglas kit can be installed by a certified aircraft mechanic (A&P) in approximately 1/2 day. For more information, contact Chris Donnelly at Airglas, Inc. 907-344-1450.
